Summer Track 2026

Summer track for ages 4-14

This will be a wonderful introductory experience to track and field for both beginner and experienced runners. Our mission is to help kids develop a LOVE for running they can carry with them through life. Based on their age, kids will learn about all of the different elements of track and field through games, running and fun.
Program Details: Track 2025
Ages: 4 to 14
Dates: June 4 - July 30th Thursdays | 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM and Saturdays ng focused on speed, technique, conditioning, and confidence building.
Saturdays | 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM
Duration: 
Location: Strafford High School
Hosted by: East Nashville Athletics
Includes: Running tank top and water bottle with registration
Optional Track Meets: Opportunities to compete throughout the season

We’re excited to announce that registration is now open for the East Nash Athletics 8-Week Summer Track Program!
This program is open to all ages and skill levels and is designed to help young athletes build confidence, improve technique, stay active, and have fun this summer.

WEEKLY SCHEDULE
Thursdays | 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Track Training focused on speed, technique, conditioning, and confidence building.
Saturdays | 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM
Family Fun Run using the 1-mile loop at the Nature Center meeting at ENA 
PROGRAM INCLUDES
Track Jersey
Entry into the Tomato Fest Kids 1-Mile Fun Run

As we head into an exciting summer season, we are proud to introduce the incredible leadership team helping guide our athletes, families, and programs forward. Each of these leaders brings years of experience, passion, and dedication to youth athletics and community development.
We are excited to officially welcome Coach Louis Wayne Hines, Matt Pulle, and Lee Wilson to our summer programming and youth development team!

Coach Louis Wayne Hines
Coach Louis Wayne Hines brings decades of experience, leadership, and championship success to our program. His coaching career has impacted athletes across football and track & field throughout Tennessee, helping students grow both in competition and in life.

Coach Hines has helped mentor more than 51 scholarship athletes throughout his career and continues to inspire young athletes through discipline, opportunity, and excellence.

 Matt Pulle
Matt Pulle is a lifelong runner, dedicated coach, and proud sports parent who brings a passion for endurance athletics and youth development to our program.
A former cross country and track athlete at Vanderbilt University, Matt earned Academic All-SEC honors during both his junior and senior years. He has completed 17 marathons, including 15 sub-three-hour finishes, with an impressive personal best of 2:29.
Matt and his wife are raising three active children, ages 15, 12, and 9, all of whom compete in triathlons. His oldest currently runs varsity cross country and track at Stratford High School.
Outside of athletics, Matt serves as an attorney with Mitsubishi Motors North America in Franklin and continues to lead by example, running more than 40 miles per week.

 Lee Wilson
Originally from Oregon, Lee Wilson has proudly called Nashville home for the past 18 years. A lifelong runner with nearly four decades in the sport, Lee competed collegiately for the University of Oregon before planting roots in the Nashville running community.
In 2011, Lee founded Nashville Running Company, which has become one of Nashville’s most respected and community-focused running stores.
Lee is passionate about helping young athletes discover running and fitness while building confidence and community through sports. As a father of an MNPS middle school student, he is deeply committed to empowering youth through athletics and opportunity.
Lee also actively supports organizations and events throughout Nashville, including the Tomato 5K, Full Belly 5K, Friends of Shelby, and ENA, while serving on the boards of East Nasty Running Club and Move Music City.
We are incredibly excited for the experience, mentorship, and energy these leaders bring to our athletes and families. Please join us in welcoming them as we continue building opportunities for youth across our community this summer and beyond!
