Spring 2021 Schedule
Mandatory Evaluations: Week of 2/21/2021 (Schedule below)
Team Draft: 2/27/2021
Practice begins: Week of 3/1/2021
Opening Day: 3/27/2021
Regular season end: 5/15/2021
End of season tournament: 5/16/2021-5/22/2021
*5/24-5/27 will be used as makeup days, if necessary.

Prior to opening day, players should anticipate 1-2 week day practices and one weekend practice. After opening day, anticipate one week day game, one week night practice and one weekend or double-header games. Finalized game and practice schedules will not be available until after teams and coaches have been assigned.

Below is our revised evaluation schedule for evaluations.  Please attend the evaluation for your players age group.  All players ages 7-13 are required to attend only 1 evaluation.  This ensures a competitive balance and will be more fun for the players.  Ages 4-6 will not attend evaluations.

 All Evaluations will take place at Shelby Park.  Enter through the gate closest to the train tracks.  

All coaches and volunteers will wear a mask when they are unable to socially distance.  Players are not required to wear a facial covering.  

 Tuesday February 23 from 6:30pm-8pm
Ages 9-10
Ages 11-13

Wednesday February 24 from 6:30-8:30 pm
This is our make-up date for all ages 7-13 that were not able to attend their Monday or Tuesday evaluation.    

Thursday February 25 from 6:30 - 8 PM (rescheduled due to weather)
Ages 7-8
Ages 9-10

Once evaluations are completed on Thursday 2/25 we will be closing registration so we can determine the number of teams for each age group and setting head and assistant coaches. Only 1 coach per team will attend Draft Day. Draft day is scheduled for Saturday 2/27 and after that date rosters will be finalized, uniforms will be ordered, and practice will begin the week of March 1st.

Age Division and Cost
Age division assignment will be determined by the player’s age on May 1, 2021. Exception: The 4-5 age division will be determined by the player’s age on August 31, 2021.

5-year-old players can choose between the 4-5 or 5-6 Age Division when registering. As a general rule of thumb, if your child has never played baseball before we recommend they select the 4-5 Age Division and not attend an evaluation session.

Ages 4-5 T-ball: $145
Ages 5-6 Coach Pitch: $145
Ages 7-8 Rookie: $165
Ages 9-10 Minor: $185
Ages 11-13 Major/70: $200
Any refunds will be applied as credit minus the cost of uniforms.

What equipment is needed?
1. Fielding glove - Required
2. Batting helmet - Required - these cannot be shared!
3. Batting gloves - These are not a must, but we will do a lot of swinging so this can help prevent blisters. 
4. Bat* - While a bat is not required, it is recommended that each player have their own bat.

Practice Attire
1. Pants, not shorts: Players should wear baseball pants or other pants that do not have metal in the legs.  This is so they are able to slide.  Do not wear shorts or jeans! 
2. Cleats: While cleats are not required, it will be very difficult without these. Players cannot wear metal cleats. 
3. Baseball hat: Every player should wear a hat to all practices.  This is an expectation at all age levels.  
4. There will be no “uniforms” for the Fall Skills Camp. 

What are the Bat rules for the 2021 Season?
All bats must have USA Baseball stamp and the barrel cannot exceed 2 5/8 inches.  2 ¾ inch barrels will not be allowed. 
Please be aware that post-season competition will have varying bat rules. If you want to purchase a bat that will be allowed for all competition, purchase USA Baseball 2-5/8s and no larger.

Can my child wear metal cleats?
No metal cleats

Teammate and Coach Requests
We will try to accommodate teammate and coach requests to the best of our ability. Our priority is to create a fun, balanced and competitive environment for all age divisions. Please make a note of this request when registering your player and send an e-mail to [email protected] Any requests submitted after teams are created will be denied.

Playing Up/Playing Down Age Division
All requests must be approved by the Player Agent.
